5 ways to prevent heart attack

Five ways to prevent heart attack
Heart attack has been responsible for many deaths in
Ghana in recent times.
Currently, anyone who suffers a cardiac arrest in
Ghana may not survive because of the poor state of
our emergency services.
That is why it is crucial that you take these five
important steps to protect your heart.
1. Eat for your future
Doctors recommend that you cut down on or avoid
fatty foods like sausages and eggs. Instead, eat plenty
of fruits and veggies, grains, and foods high in
omega-3 fatty acids like fresh tuna or herring to your
diet.
2. Do not smoke!
Researchers have been very clear that cigarette
smoking and second-hand exposure to smoke
increases the risks of heart disease, lung disease,
peripheral vascular disease and stroke
3. Be physically active
jogging
Doctors warn that inactivity can increase the risk of
heart failure. So be physically active. Exercise
regularly.
4. Maintain a healthy blood pressure
High blood pressure can trigger cardiac arrest. It is
critical to monitor yours regularly to ensure that it
falls within the acceptable limit.
5. Monitor your cholesterol
Too much of bad cholesterol in the heart makes a
heart attack more likely. It is, therefore, important to
monitor your cholesterol level regularly to ensure that
you are within the safe zone.
