Goat caught "chewing" Mahama's
campaign poster

Wonders shall never end in Ghana! As the elections
inch closer, strange developments keep making the
headlines. One being that of a goat pictured in
Western region chewing a campaign poster of
President Mahama.
Ashanti regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party
(NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako alias Chairman
Wontumi, who confirmed the incidence alleges that he
saw the goat doing justice to the poster of the
president.

“I was in the Western Region to campaign for my party
and I never saw this coming. It was very strange to
me to see a goat chomping poster. I visited few
houses in the municipality and it was during the visits
that I saw a goat doing this for the first time”, he said.

When asked what the strange development meant, this
was what Chairman Wontumi said:
“This is to warn electorates that domestic animals
would not even be happy to go through another
hardship under President Mahama. He shouldn’t be
given another chance to rule. If you have a president
who classifies himself as a dead goat, what should we
expect? Live goats would attack him,” he insinuated.
